An all-time childhood favourite having been located in Coffs since 1964 I swear I've visited 100 times plus since the 80's. Knowing it is located on the side of a hill it was definitely not somewhere I'd actually planned to visit now I'm totally reliant on a wheelchair....however..... When driving past on a recent #roadtrip to #Sydney I noticed the usually bright yellow Banana was glowing purple in honour of World Mast Cell Disease Awareness Day 💜 and planned a quick stop on way back when open. #spotourspots #mastocytosis

We where on a tight schedule and I honestly wanted to just grab some purple souvenirs from the shop.

The accessibility was amazing as you can see but it is steep in parts (particularly carpark) so I would not have been able to do in my manual chair but my Whill was absolutely fine.

We even took a quick trip to the reptile park where I was still able to view all of the animals very easily - and touch if I wanted.

All around an absolutely great quick 1hr stopover on what's otherwise a long and boring highway.
